Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the teams to oversee all operational activities including Client on-boarding, Loans, Deposit, Cheque Clearing, Remittance and Treasury Settlement and Trade Finance;
  • Conduct UAT for the Operations System; develop and maintain the Core Banking System and its procedures to ensure continuous improvement and support new products / business initiatives and regulations;
  • Ensure effective operational risk control by setting performance metrics and control procedures in Operations Dept. and ensure compliance with related regulatory requirements;
  • Daily monitoring and reporting of business activities to the Management;
  • Perform operations control, cross teams supporting functions and/or other assigned projects whenever necessary.

Job Requirements:


  • Degree or above holder in banking or business-related disciplines;
  • Minimum 12 to 15 years' relevant experience gained with a well-established wholesale or corporate banking (Well-experienced candidates will be considered for senior level) ;
  • Familiar with HKMA guidelines and relevant regulations e.g. Code of Banking Practice of HKAB;
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, pertinent to a branch environment in particular;
  • Good team player, organized, detailed-minded, hardworking and able to work independently;
  • Effective leadership skills with strong execution capabilities to drive changes;
  • Excellent multi-tasking and customer services skills;
  • Proficient in PC applications, such as Lotus Note and MS Office and Chinese word processing;
  • Excellent communication skills with fluent English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
