Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

Fully in charge of Natixis Hong Kong Branch, Natixis Asia Ltd, Natixis Australia Pty Ltd and Natixis Holdings Hong Kong Ltd’s accounting matters and oversees the team to discharge the responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • The accurate and timely delivery of information / reporting to local regulators, Head Office and Regional Office, the booking control and expenses processing
  • The compliance of local internal control procedure and applicable Accounting Standards with all financial, management, legal and regulatory requirements from Head office and regulators and tax authorities
  • The timely budgeting and the subsequent monitoring, control and analysis on certain legal entities
  • The management accounting reporting package and its monthly comments on regular basis to regional office and Head Office on certain legal entities
  • The bank's tax affairs and the local tax liabilities, maintaining the sound relationship with the tax authorities and ensuring the tax reporting in full compliance
  • Work with tax advisor for their tax compliance process
  • Perform the accounting control and establish control procedure if necessary
  • Act as the key contact point and represent Finance in interface with local regulatory authorities, internal and external auditors, and other relevant officials if need be
  • Act as the supervisor to perform managerial duties
  • Participate in and support the bank-wide business expansion and support lines of business to drive new business
  • Ad hoc operational and financial inquiries and analysis out of own initiative or from internal sources and external sources (auditors)
  • Support CFO / Regional Head of Accounting, APAC to handle new projects, including financial accounting, tax matter, IT related


Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Required Skills:

  • A good degree in economics, finance or accounting from a recognized university
  • Effective communication and inter-personal skills to convey and advocate ideas and concepts
  • At least 10 years’ experience in bank finance overall function management, additional 2-3 years auditing experience (BIG 4) is preferable.
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
  • Fluent in English;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including strong PowerPoint skills
  • Good communications skills, pleasant personality and a good team player
  • CPA certification would be an advantage
  • Well versed with local regulatory rules
