  • Lead the team of Business Compliance Unit to oversight AML various control function including Customer onboarding, Periodic & Triggering Event Reviews for both Entity customers (Onshore & Offshore), as well as Individual Customer (Mass Market customers, Premier Banking & Private Banking Customers), Transaction Monitoring, Fraud Investigation and Referral Source Quality Management
  • Oversight AML Risk and Control aspects for Entity & Individual customers in Business Units & Branches under Retail Banking Group; & provide AML/CFT advisory to frontline staff
  • Collaborate with Compliance Division to keep abreast with updated Regulatory & Group requirement; & to communicate with Frontline Staff to promote AML awareness
  • Review customer’s CDD Profile for Onboarding, Periodic Reviews, Triggering Event Reviews & Post-STR EDD Reviews; and to make recommendation to Compliance Division on risk-based approach
  • Liaise with Compliance Division to enhance an overall control & compliance framework.
  • Ensure proper surveillance control & on-going monitoring is in place
  • To identify & investigate suspicious transaction, and to ensure STR is filed to Compliance Division in a timely manner



  • Degree Holder of Business or related disciplines
  • Minimum 15 years’ business compliance experience on Corporate/ SME Banking
  • Good knowledge on HK Banking Regulatory requirement (HKMA) and CDD, AML & surveillance control 
  • Holding relevant AML professional qualification is preferable
  • Self-motivated, mature with a strong sense of responsibility and good leadership skills
  • Attentive to details and able to work under pressure
  • Good command of written English and Chinese
