Our client is looking for an expert in Content Marketing to deliver home-grown content to mass consumers.

Client Details



Our client is an expanding media company who produce and procure content to be streamed directly to consumers through different channels. Beside procuring popular content such as movies, drama series, concerts, documentaries from reputable publishers and producers globally, they have the experience and ability to produce home-grown content especially in finance and real-estate investments, current affairs, home and living, health and beauty, education, among others.



Description

  • Setup the content studio division by integrating current pool of talents with strategic external recruitment.
  • Work closely with other content production (i.e. drama, finance, lifestyle, live events, music) for overall content strategy, direction and production.
  • Work with content production and marketing teams to identify and produce content including mobile format that will appeal to our target consumers.
  • Review and edit our TV-centric contents and make them optimized for mobile devices and audiences.
  • Monetize content through advertising sales and partnerships (e.g. product placement, customized sponsorship, branded content) working in tandem with marketing and sales teams.
  • Work with product team to continuously learn and optimize viewer experience/ user interface through various mobile screens or devices.
  • Help the organization to stay current on competitive and ever-evolving industry and mobile content trends.






Profile

  • University degree, preferably in Journalism, Publishing, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience, with at least 5 years leading and managing a sizeable editorial team, publication, and/or content studio in content.
  • Highly creative, with ability to decipher what the market needs from mobile content, and to turn the needs into creative content that will appeal to both viewers and advertisers.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills including the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Creative and agile problem solver with strong leadership.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English.
  • Articulate in speaking to journalists and external media.
