Head of Google Marketing Solutions Sales, Hong Kong (Mandarin, Cantonese and English)



Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of combined experience in technology, advertising, management and consulting.
  • Experience in the Hong Kong market.
  • Ability to speak and write Mandarin, Cantonese and English fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • 17 years of combined experience in technology, advertising, management and consulting.
  • Experience building relationships with C-level executives.
  • Experience with online media.
  • Ability to grow and lead a Sales and Operations team with a strong track record in driving sales. Experience with online media.
  • Forward-looking vision to drive business growth to meet Google's business objectives; ability to act as a key spokesperson for Google in Hong Kong communicating a commercial strategy tailored to the market while implementing Google's corporate vision.

As the Head of Google Marketing Solutions (GMS) Sales for Hong Kong, you will manage and help lead a high-performing client sales team grow the business of key advertisers mainly across the Hong Kong market. You use innovative methods to share industry insight and propose product solutions, while also employing quantitative abilities to make effective, strategic decisions. You require a unique blend of strategic and analytical thinking, business acumen and operational skills. In addition, you will develop and implement best practices for client interaction, business and services for the Google Ads product, leading the team in becoming our clients' trusted advisor. You will be joining a fast-growing and exciting team and be a key contributing member of the GMS leadership team in Greater China.

From a business perspective, you will help evolve the business process, craft the prospect and customer experience, and ensure our team has the best skills in the industry. Operationally, you will run an organized data-driven team to ensure that we maximize our opportunity and glean key insights to drive future potential.

  • Own execution of key growth-driving initiatives, securing support from internal stakeholders at regional and local levels and leading strategy setting and execution across other functions.
  • Ensure team readiness to deliver complex advertising solutions and create a culture of business innovation and advertiser success on the team.
  • Build team structure, recognize leadership potential and support career development through enhancing capabilities within the team. Build a strong partnership with internal stakeholders across various departments in Hong Kong.
  • Drive advertising business growth mainly in Hong Kong, as well as in some other markets in the Greater China region.
