Head of IT

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, IT Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years experience in the IT management field with at least 5 years solid experience in China
  • Successful track record in leading e-commerce and retail management projects throughout the business including retail, wholesale, warehouse, mall and logistics operation, etc...
  • Ability to exhibit leadership behaviors which support the business and technology goals through strong problem management and analytical thinking
  • Process technology experience to include but not limited to POS, BI, HR functional and off the shelf finance systems
  • Able to utilize information, IT and communication technologies to facilitate work and achieve operational efficiency
  • Exposure to multiple contemporary IT technologies and solutions is an added advantage
  • Fluency in multiple languages including English, Chinese and Mandarin Job Duties:
  • Responsible for the IT strategy formulation, building new IT team,overseeing the daily IT Infrastructure and systems for the group;ensuring smooth operational support of systems along with implementingnew technology initiatives that align to business objectives
  • Serve as a liaison between internal business units across various departments in HK, China, Macau & Taiwan
  • Responsible for the cost analysis of various IT projects and managing allocation of resources
  • Provide strategic operations support and successful implementation that is responsive to the needs of the company's growth and objectives
  • Review and evaluate new technologies as they emerge and recommend desirable hardware and software upgrades to support business continuity and IT disaster recovery.
  • Manage architectural and operational aspects of strategic outsourcing relationships
  • Develop IT strategy which match with the company business plan in the retail, O2O e-Business and shopping mall business
  • Drive new projects on the systems, policies and procedures that will lead to new customer value, best practices sharing and process efficiencies
  • Work closely with business users and IT partners to architect and implement business driven IT solutions
  • Oversee analysis of key performance effectiveness, vendor risk and vendor performance
