Head of Memebership (Private Club)

This role is responsible for the successful formation and execution of sales and partnership marketing strategies, the development and maintenance of strategic relationships and managing a high performance membership & sales team. The objective of this role is to maximise membership growth and recruitment for a young private and members-only country club. The club offers state-of-the-art facilities and services for sporting activities, hospitality and wellness.


  • Develop and implement members recruitment programmes and strategic partnership programmes
  • Devise near-term and long-range plans related to membership and programmes to grow member categories
  • Qualify prospects, present membership benefits that match the prospects needs and invite prospects to become members of the club
  • Build relationships and meet the needs of prospective members through engagement such as club tours, identifying needs, pipeline management and relationship marketing strategies
  • Partnerships – optimise/grow existing and develop new strategic partnerships with consumer brands, banks, corproate partners, etc.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of advertising and promotional campaigns designed to generate membership sales
  • Assist in recruiting, coaching, developing and mentoring the membership & sales team
  • Create and maintain forecasts, budgets and other reports. Formulate team and individual goals, KPIs and accountability metrics. Achieve individual sales targets


  • Bachelor's Degree holder or relevant work expeirence
  • Minimum 10 years' business development or sales management experience
  • Past experience in hospitality, such as hotels, club houses, resorts, etc.
  • Execellent command of English; proficient in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) big plus
  • Good communications skills; team management experience is a must
