  • Provide strategic plan and directions to ensure smooth operation of the Bank Processing Centres including Loans, Bills, Remittance, Securities & Settlement
  • Ensure maintenance of appropriate standards of conduct to the customers as required by the Bank and local regulators and that the Centres comply with the relevant law and regulators, internal / external rules and guidelines, business practices and requirements of the concerned business regulations
  • Provide guidance to the Centres on productivity and efficiency enhancements and expenditure control
  • Ensure adequate control systems are in place in the Centres. Review and revise the control systems of the Centres when required
  • Investigate and report timely to the senior management on all operational losses of the Bank and recommend remedies to minimize future operational losses
  • Manage staff resources and performance for the Centres, identify and develop potentials and successors to meet operational needs
  • Assess / grant / authorize staff of the Centres with suitable access authority to IT systems
  • Drive, implement and support banking operational projects as required


  • Bachelor degree or above in Banking, Finance or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Retail and/or Commerical Banking Operations with exposure to Bills, Loans, Remittance, Securities & Settlements Processing
  • At least 6 years of banking operation centre experience at managerial level of a large operation team
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical and process improvement capabilities with accomplishment of efficiency gains/cost savings. Business planning and budget with ability to report variance adjustment as needed
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, problem solving and organization skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Sense of Urgency-meets deadlines, establishes appropriate priority with the job delivered on a timely manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively interact and build effective relationships with all levels of the bank including senior management
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
