Head of Private Client Services Department / Wealth Management- Retail Banking 

Job Description

Responsibilities 

• To lead Sales Force to deliver assigned sales target in various products carried by the Company to achieve the budgeted sales revenue and P&L result.
• In order to achieve (1) above, the incumbent will lead with entrepreneurial acumens always taking into consideration the market sentiment, own weakness and strengths, exercising sound problem solving skills to raise the performance of the department.
• To participate in and contribute to the development of marketing plans and targets by monitoring and analyzing sales results and market intelligence
• To coach, appraise, develop and motivate subordinate staff in order to achieve individual sales development programs
• To maintain a high standard of compliance mind-set throughout the team and to ensure that the multi-tier control will function properly
• To build an effective and professional sales force that is highly motivated on the basis of existing remuneration policies
• To continuously develop the sales force with up-to-date product, market knowledge and to expand the size of the team in terms of income generating capability

Requirements

• Degree holder or equivalent in any discipline, preferably in Finance, Business Administration or Economics
• Holder of SFC, IIQE & MPF licenses
• SFC RO License in Type 1 and 2
• Over 10 years of managerial experience in Retail Banking , 4 years of which in leading a sizable sales team.
• In depth understanding about WM products including but not limited to equities, futures, options, structured products, funds, bonds and insurance.
• Good understanding of SFO, compliance on all investment products.
• Sound sales and service quality background on Insurance and MPF business, plus good understanding of Investment products in the market
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese Fluency in Putonghua an advantage
