Head of Sales, Hong Kong

Main Objective / Context

Sales: Lead the Hong Kong Sales Team to acquire profitable new business through aggressive targeted national sales activity and strong support of regional and global sales initiatives including RFP response.

Other:
Responsible for all productions (online and offline) deployed in Hong Kong. Business owner for all client implementations.
 
Main responsibilities & duties
Sales:
  • Proactively motivate and manage the Sales team.
  • Establish a strong market presence amongst prospects in a way that creates both a strong pipeline and conversion to achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure sales targets are met at agreed profit levels
  • Ensure that Corp Sales Managers work cooperatively to manage client upsell and referral opportunities
  • Evaluate emerging market trends, customers’ requirements and competitor activity. Recommend CWT’s response and positioning.
Reporting:
Provide, concise, timely, accurate and appropriate monthly reports on all portfolio areas including:
  • Sales activity
  • Client activity
  • Online adoption
  • Client implementations – planned and forecast
  • Supplier deals and revenues
  • Meetings and Events activities and financials
Qualifications
  • Relevant and significant travel industry experience in a TMC, Travel Agency, Airline or GDS, client.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar capacity in corporate travel industry with proven history of successful sales management with corporate clients
  • Ability to mentor, guide and develop team
  • Able to interact at senior level with clients and internally
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
