    Our client is a market leading pharmaceutical company. Due to their expansion in the region. They are looking for someone to lead their supply chain and procurement team.

    Description

    Supply Chain/Production
  • Oversee the daily Logistics operations in Hong Kong, Mainland China and all Export Markets.
  • Oversee and monitor the overall supply chain operations covering both upstream and downstream of Manufacturing and OEM Operations.
  • Monitor direct inbound and outbound logistics operations including transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate effective logistics into business systems or processes covering customer sales, order management, F & A, overseas freight, in-country delivery.
  • Maintain assured supply of raw materials, work-in-process and finished products to meet market and customer requirements.
  • Optimize the workflow and communication lines among departments to explore continuous productivity and process efficiency improvements.
  • Plan, implement and monitor the manufacturing strategies to optimize the resources of manpower and production capacity.
  • Lead the team of production to strive for production target in the most efficient way
  • Monitor and ensure the performance of entire production process comply with corporate standard, i.e. product quality, budget and cost delivery schedule and etc


  • Procurement
  • Review and refine procurement policies and procedures.
  • Manage sourcing and supplier relationship management to ensure high-quality supply of goods and services, together with driving cost improvement plans;
  • Maintain a well-established Procurement and Purchasing systems and make continuous improvement of the overall process;
  • Negotiates, reviews, and executes contractual arrangements per company policy and business objectives.
  • Warrant strict compliance of the Standard Operation Procedure in procurement, production and logistics operations.


  • Profile
    • Bachelor degree or equivalent in business or related subject or relevant experience
    • At least 15 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain, and ideally will have already served as the top Procurement and Supply Chain executive for a pharmaceutical/FMCG company
    • Must have the strategic capability to devise short- and long-term Procurement and Supply Chain strategies, balanced by operational capability to implement them.
    • Must have the ability to break down complex problems, systematically identify causes and develop solutions
    • Have the attributes of a mentor or teacher who can develop a performance-oriented team and build a strong bench of talent
    • Must be highly collaborative and able to work effectively outside of the sphere of direct influence, have strong leadership skills and be able to communicate clearly
