Head of Technology Risk Management (VP - Level)

The Head of Technology Risk Management drive management initiatives and address technology risks issues as well as being trusted advisor on risk management, control, governance as well as regulatory matters.

Responsibilities:

• Building key relationships with various parts of the institution, working in partnership in identifying and developing solutions to address key technology risk areas
• Forge effective engagement with key stakeholders on risk management, control, governance and regulatory matters
• Facilitate communication on Technology Risk, Control and Quality to ensure its effectiveness through agenda and robust discussion
• Develop/Enhance framework around IT risks
• Oversee Group-wide Business Continuity Management Program
• Driving and managing Technology risk initiatives and target reviews across the group, including facilitating control self assessments
• Lead and coordinate training efforts to promote technology risk management and compliance culture within Group

Requirements

• Strong experience in Technology management role
• Strong communication skills at all levels. Be able to effectively communicate with management and as well line staff to drive IT improvement initiatives and other relevant projects
• Experience in an IT risk capacity in a banking environment or professional consulting organization preferred
• Strong interpersonal relationship track record within IT population and internal clients
• Undergraduate degree in Information Technology/Engineering preferred
• Experience with the HKMA and SFC regulatory regime highly desirable
