Headwaiter/ Headwaitress/ Captain (Chinese Restaurant)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the efficient and high service standard in the station of the tables assigned
  • Responsible for the proper handling and controlling of all restaurant equipment and furniture
  • Take guest orders in the appropriate sequence
  • Assist in the supervision of restaurant staff, side work preparation and table set- ups
  • Maintain a clean environment of the restaurant
  • Supervise constantly on-the-job training of waiters and waitress to achieve maximum guest satisfaction
  • Fulfill side jobs as designed and any other assignments or responsibilities deemed reasonable and necessary by the Manager

Requirements:

  • Form 5 or above
  • 3 – 5 years relevant service experience, preferably in hotels or catering industry
  • Sound operational and supervisory knowledge and experience
  • Mature, outgoing, presentable with strong communication and leadership skills
  • Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Headwaiter/ Assistant Headwaitress/ Captain
