Health & Safety Officer
The Role
Reporting to Health & Safety Manager, the job holder’s major responsibilities are to:
- Monitor the implementation of the company’s health and safety management system and ensure the compliance
- Review and update the health and safety procedures and documents
- Co-ordinate and work with departments and contractors to drive and improve the safety performance
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, trainings and analysis
- Act as the secretary of Departmental Health and Safety Committee and provide support/advices to the departments
- Prepare reports and perform accident analysis and technical studies
- Organize health and safety promotion programs and activities
- Handle emergency situations and provide support
- Handle projects and deal with departments, contractors and authorities
The Person
The ideal candidate should have / be:
- Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Hygiene or related engineering disciplines
- Registered Safety Officer
- At least 1 year post registered (RSO) relevant working experience
- Conversant with PC and Microsoft Office application
- Good written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with good analytical skill
- With valid vehicle driving license
