Hedge Fund Operation Manager (buy-side)

Our client is a billion-dollar Chinese long-short equity hedge fund. To cope with their continuous development, they are looking for an experienced fund operation manager joining their team.

Key responsibilities:

• R eview NAVs for hedge fund portfolios
• Arrange cash transfer  for fee payment, subscription & redemption order and investment activity
• Work closely with Prime Brokers, Fund Administrators, and other counterparts to ensure all trade discrepancies and settlement issues are resolved
• Liaise  with tax advisors and auditors to ensure proper tax filing, calculation, and fund audits  are conducted
• Assist  new fund launching projects and onboarding procedures for existing funds
• Take care of Hong Kong office non-investment operations
• Assisting / initiating projects on process automation

Key elements to be a good fit:

• Bachelor's degree holder in Accountancy, Finance or other related discipline
• 6 - 10 years of experience in hedge fund operations
• Experience with Linedata Beauchamp would be a definite advantage
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Cantonese, Mandarin would be a plus
• Team player, being able to work closely with local team members and PRC team
• Immediately available
