OPIM is now accepting applications for the exciting role of Hedge Fund Operations Specialist . This is a challenging but rewarding role in a fast-paced collaborative environment, where you will gain exposure to all major asset classes. Working from behind the scenes, you will be supporting both internal and external portfolio managers to trade in over 15 exchanges around the world. Cooperating with internal core divisions, you will be responsible for ensuring safe deliveries of client assets between prime brokers and counterparties. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations , you will be provided in-house, hands-on training in settlement and reconciliation, fund accounting, compliance, equities, and derivatives.
We are looking for proactive , detail-oriented candidates, critical thinkers with 1-2 years’ of working experience in the financial services industry either in the asset management, back-office operations, settlements or fund administration. Communication is important since you will be interacting with clients and counterparties. Fluency in Mandarin and English would be mandatory.
Over time, the specialist may develop their career path within the group in other areas such as trading, risk management, fund accounting, compliance, or business development.
