Helpdesk Support Specialist

Nakama have partnered with a leading wealth management organisation based in Hong Kong who’re looking at hiring a Desktop Support Engineer to join their team. The role will be supporting and resolving technical problems for the Operations and trading team.

The successful candidate will need to have strong communication in English and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Any experience working on trading tools such as Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters would be an added bonus.

Key responsibilities –

  • Provide technical support/solutions for all technology equipment (Virtual and physical desktop, laptop, Mac, Printer, Video Conference)
  • Front-line problem support, prioritization and fixing, collaborating with our regional/global technology teams and local vendors
  • Provide technical advice and solutions
  • Consult / discuss with internal business teams or external parties to formulate new solutions to challenges
  • Solid understanding of desktop PC and hardware knowledge
  • A solid understanding of Windows 7/10
  • A solid understanding of MS Office2010/2016
  • Experience in supporting and administering Office365 is beneficial
  • Understanding of Apple Mac OS X is beneficial
