Hospitality & Membership Technology Leader

Our client, a large enterprise with a strong presence in hospitality and premium membership services, is looking for a Technology Leader in driving their future technology projects as well as leading the technology team. It is a rare opportunity in a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the large-scale technology transformation programme across hospitality and membership related systems.
  • Act as the technology leader and provide the right technology planning in aligning the business strategies and objectives.
  • Partner with the business leaders in providing a seamless interface with business areas across planning and delivery. Work together in bringing a successful integration and delivery of the technology platform.
  • Lead the technology delivery with appropriate frameworks, methods and best practices across the solutions delivery and execution process.
  • Provide technical expertise and business acumen to the key programme stakeholders.
  • Manage the IT Operations and Reliability Engineering in providing high availability of services.
  • Manage the technology portfolio with clear visibility and transparency of the delivery progress, resource, potential risk, and schedule management.
  • Provide direction, consultancy, and support to business and project teams.
  • Oversee technology project reporting on schedule, budget, scope, quality, risks, issues, team, resource management, etc.
  • Manage and develop a matrix programme team with well-defined programme reports.
  • Establish clear accountabilities and authority for different team members and build a strong culture across the programme team.

Requirements:

  • Around 15 years of experience in enterprise technology solutions, ideally with end-to-end experience across design, implementation, and production support.
  • Extensive people management and technical leadership experience.
  • Extensive system design and technical application development management experience in an enterprise-level setup.
  • Experience in applications and open source technology using Microsoft .NET Framework, C#.NET, Java, MS SQL, Oracle etc.
  • Great personality and people skill to work with all level of people including senior business leaders.
  • Enterprise systems including CRM, HRIS, Membership and/or Hospitality exposure would be a great plus.
  • Experience in adopting Agile / Scrum Methodology.
  • Candidates from a Consultancy background would also be preferred.
  • University degree in Computer Science or related discipline from a reputed university.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
