HR Director Europe (m/f/d)

Your tasks as the HR Director:

  • Together with your HR team, you are responsible for two production sites in Europe with close to 1000 employees. Working from home office is possible, but will require significant travel with initially strong focus on the German organization located near Schwabisch Hall.
  • Aligning the HR strategy with the business goals of the global division, especially in the areas of performance management, organizational development, personnel development and compensation, is part of your day-to-day business. In addition to that, the further professionalization and implementation of HR processes and HR projects on a global level are key for the success.
  • You ensure a constructive and goal-oriented cooperation with the works council and advise the management on all labor law issues.
  • In strategic projects, you work together with international colleagues and promote the exchange among each other.
  • Due to your responsibility, you maintain a close relationship with the management of the division and report directly to the global CEO of the construction division.

Your profile:

  • Through your previous work experience within a global company, you built up an international mindset, hence you don’t think in local boundaries.
  • With your charismatic personality, you want to make a difference, to change things and to set accents: With sensitivity and assertiveness, you succeed in attracting people of every culture and thus ensuring the success of HR processes and company goals.
  • Ideally you come with a degree in business administration, economics, law or equivalent and relevant professional experience in HR responsibility, preferably of a manufacturing company, plant or division. Having worked in an international, English speaking environment is a must.
  • Previous experience with work councils and labor unions is compulsory, as well as conversational German skills. The company language is English though. Basic knowledge of French is considered a plus.
  • With your above-average communication and assertiveness as well as your confident appearance you convince on all levels - nationally and internationally.
  • Are you analytical, entrepreneurial, solution-oriented and willing to take on international responsibility? Then you fit well with our client.
