This role will partner with the business to further attract, retain and develop the best talent to the firm and continue to foster a culture as the most creative, strategic, fun communications consultancy in Hong Kong.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, experienced recruitment & talent management professional to join our global HR function. You will partner with management to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the business and to deliver best talent to the organization. You will be part of a regional network and work with a close knit growing team with some of the most creative, brightest, energetic and enthusiastic PR/communication professionals.

What you'll do:

Talent Acquisition (70%) -

  • Develop and implement ongoing talent acquisition program initiatives (Rising Stars and Talent Exchange, PR Academy/Internships)
  • Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units.
  • Create and implement Employment Marketing Strategies to attract passive job seekers.
  • Network with industry groups, associations, and influential partners to help identify talent for the firm
  • Identify opportunities to market FleishmanHillard as employer-of-choice in the strategic PR/communications industry
  • Elevate social recruiting strategies to source talent via Linkedin, Facebook, advertising campaigns, database & job portal mining, referral processes, career fairs
  • Maintain and build talent database by targeting organizations and markets; locating, interviewing, and qualifying prospects

Talent Management/Development (20%)

  • Proactively assess training and development needs and propose internal / external solutions.
  • Implement practical and effective training programs to increase staff development.
  • Facilitate and advance on-going retention strategies, succession planning programs and workplace initiatives that continue to promote a productive and great-place-to-work environment.
  • Provide guidance to management and staff in Hong Kong office on human resources practices, policy interpretation, problem resolution and compliance.
  • Act as project lead to implement regional HR initiatives in partnership with Regional HR team such as employee satisfaction survey and action plan, etc.

 What you'll need:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of solid corporate recruiting or agency recruiting experience
  • Good knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws and HR best practices to cultivate a positive culture
  • Ability to consult with and add value to leadership team on all issues relating to people and culture
  • Effective in written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese), Mandarin an advantage
  • Demonstrate organizational awareness working within a multinational organization.
  • Gain trust from employees as well as local, regional, and corporate leaders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and coaching skills for all employees and managers
  • Ability to function in a lean set up and a fast-paced dynamic environment; and to plan, propose and organize relevant resources and people for implementing human resources management related work.
  • Strong in project management skills and ability to coordinate regional or global HR initiatives with multiple parties across various countries.
  • Able to cope with multi-tasks and a fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); any other skills in online and digital technology are highly desirable (i.e.) infographics
  • Strong team player, mature, independent, and attentive to detail;
  • Strong in analytical thinking and being resourceful
