The Firm

A medium sized English law firm with stable and dynamic working environment and a structural and systematic HR team is currently hiring an HR Officer supporting the all-rounded HR functions.

The Opportunity

This is a very stable and interesting position for Asia regions supporting a few Asia countries including Hong Kong, Singapore and PRC offices on various HR aspects.

The general HR duties in Hong Kong will include but not limit to the communication work with the Law Society of Hong Kong, handling the CPD reports, arranging trainings for lawyers, preparing HR reports for management, updating the HR system, handling the visa applications, preparing employment contract and supporting in the campus recruitment activities. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will also assist in various HR projects such as salary review, arranging staff appraisal, HR system upgrade and organizing annual dinner etc.

With regards to the Recruitment work, you will be responsible for the Asia offices on the hiring progress including communicating with line managers, posting advisements, liaising with recruitment service providers, screening resumes, scheduling interviews for professional hiring, arranging tests, conducting interviews and reference checks etc. You will have to work independently and professionally on the whole hiring process.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate should have the following requirements:

  • Degree / Higher Diploma holder in Human Resources Management / Business Management or related disciplines with at least 2 years solid working experience in HR support functions from professional services industries
  • Candidates from both in-house HR and external recruitment agencies will be considered
  • Good communication ability in both Cantonese and English will be required
  • Good Team player with pleasant, proactive, responsible and hard-working personality
  • Candidates from international law firms will be considered first
