HR Officer - People Admin (Banking, Contract)

Major Accountabilities:

  • Contributes to the implementation of an effective and efficient HR platform to answer HR related queries
  • Supports the promotion of utilizing self-service and other HR tools to the Business when dealing with queries that could be resolved by other means
  • Possesses the proficiency in call handling and customer service, demonstrating professional and deep knowledge of HR policies and procedures to address enquiries from the Business; Addresses as many queries as possible at Tier 1 without further escalation to Tier 2 and Tier 3
  • Serves as the first escalation point at Tier 1 to judge what cases are to be escalated to Tier 2 based on the nature of enquiries and transactions, required approval level and other pre-defined matrices; Helps maintain a collaborative working partnership with Tier 2 and Tier 3 to provide seamless HR services for the Business
  • Leads the identification of service quality improvement initiatives (processes and systems), revision of SLA, standard operating procedures, FAQs and manuals, and maintenance of process tools.
  • Maintains awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with section B.1.2 of the Group Operations FIM


Requirements:

  1. University graduated in related discipline
  2. Preferably with experience in banking & finance industry
  3. Good knowledge of Human Resources policies and practices is a an addition
  4. Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  5. Excellent attention to detail and self-motivated
  6. Good team player, proactive and willing to learn
  7. Excellent communications skills
  8. Fluency in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken·
