Your hands-on involvement will allow you to acquire a solid foundation of HR principles and understand how they apply in core operations, increasing your business and technical knowledge so that you can progress onto the next stage of your career.

Job Exposure

As part of the HR service team at the corporate headquarters, you will have a chance to handle full range of compensation and benefits function. 
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Manage payroll calculation, process and reconciliation and ensure the processes are in compliance with relevant ordinances and internal procedures

  • Staff cost recharge for joint ventures, subsidiaries and associated companies
  • Maintain HRMS and other Human Resources self-service platforms to ensure the accurate flow of information
  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of systems’ upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application upgrade or fix.
  • Create and run analytical reports to support management decisions
  • Act as an internal advisor on services improvement and excellence. Identify digital solutions to reduce manual work within HR’s community
  • Serve as the contact point for payroll and tax related enquiries
  • Assist in annual HR exercises, such as salaries tax filing and total compensation review
  • Involve in ad hoc projects as assigned

Desired Skills and Qualities

  • Degree Holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • At least 4 years of HR experience from sizable organization, solid experience in payroll calculation preferred
  • Exposure in using Oracle, SAP or PeopleSoft highly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Sound numerical skills, attention to detail and accuracy and can work under pressure
  • Organized with strong communication capability. Excellent problem solving skills with analytical mindset
  • Well versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance
  • Fluency in spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Immediate available a plus
