HR Data & Analytics Manager

As the HR Data & Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR data and analytics across APAC. You will take full ownership to review and maintain integrity of data in HR systems, provide reporting solution (including management dashboards) and use your analytical skills to identify trends/data stories/insights. You will also be providing support to HR and business on HR data queries by working with subject matter experts in local HR, HRIS and global reporting and IT teams

You will also play an important role in defining and act as a project and change manager to implement the future HR Data & Analytics roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

HR Data Management, Reporting & Analytics

  • Lead and manage the process of monthly workforce reporting and analysis; provide functional management of the outsourced team
  • Ensure provision of accurate and up-to-date data and information produced in all reports
  • Gather requirements and develop reporting solutions for ongoing and ad hoc HR needs
  • Understand and communicate data/stories/trends; links findings to business development (organizational changes, business development, HR activities etc.).

  • Manage data collection and production of a variety of staffing related reports for specific HR purposes including Succession Planning/Diversity/SMP exercises

  • Provide support to HR users on data queries by working closely with local HR, HRIS and global reporting teams to acquire a good understanding of HR data relationships in different HR systems
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation and provide training to end users to improve data governance and integrity

Project Management

  • Contribute to define the strategy and roadmap of advanced/predictive HR reporting and analytics
  • Manage end-to-end implementation of new data reporting and visualization tools by working closely with internal/external resources to perform option analysis, make recommendations, go governance and provide project management
  • Propose opportunities to further standardize, automate and improve HR processes that impact data management and reporting

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Define and execute regional Personal Data Protection actions

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree

Required Skills/Experience

Minimum

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven and successful data analysis experience

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Attention to detail/rigor

  • Project management; PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

  • Strong organization skills

  • Ability to collaborate/teamwork

  • Critical thinking

  • Ability to synthetize/simplify

  • Creative and innovative approach to problem solving

  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of seniority

  • Experience with ADVANCED Microsoft PowerPoint & Microsoft Excel, formula building, pivot tables, graphing and charting etc

Preferred

  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (Alteryx, Business Intelligence, Tableau etc.)

  • Knowledge of HR practices, procedures and standards policy and procedure development techniques is a plus

  • Experience in process improvement preferred

  • Experience in change management

  • Knowledge in Personal Data Protection
