Established in 2009, Hong Kong Green Building Council (“the Council") is the leading body, co-founded by four major construction industry and environmental organisations, driving the market transformation towards green and sustainable buildings in Hong Kong through engagement with the industry, the government and broader community.

HKGBC is expanding its secretariat team in line with its positioning as Hong Kong's leading member-based body dedicated to green building development, with opening for the post of Human Resources Executive:

Key Roles:

Report to Assistant Manager – Human Resources and Head of Finance and Administration, key responsibilities of the Human Resources Executive comprise:

  • Attend to overall HR functions including recruitment, compensations and benefits, HR Information System, training and development and other HR related matters:
  • Assist in recruitment activities including internship program and industrial attachment Program
  • Assist in handling the full life circle of employee from on boarding to off boarding
  • Update and maintain database of HR software system, safe-keep of personnel records
  • Provide support in preparing payroll, MPF, leave management and tax returns for staff
  • Assist in compiling HR related analysis reports, announcement, policies and procedures update
  • Assist in various talent engagement, training and development, staff activities
  • Provide support in various HR projects and initiatives and carry out the administration duties to ensure a smooth operation of HR Unit
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

  • A degree holder, preferably in human resources management or related discipline
  • One to two years of experience in Human Resources is preferable, experiences in sizable organisation, public sector or related industry would be an advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Acrobat and general IT skills
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and responsibility, well organised,  detail-oriented, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
