Reporting to the Group Director Human Resources, this role is responsible for creating the human resources strategies that will attract, develop and retain Associates and Colleagues which in turn assist the organisation to achieve its vision and mission. The role will assist the Group Director Human Resources in the HR Operations, contemplating Talent Acquisition and Talent Engagement strategies, influence and implement at all levels across the organisation. The incumbent will leverage our values
and brand insights to ensure effective Talent Resources Management. The Human Resources Manager will be required to manage the talent landscape in Hong Kong, Greater China and the Philippines. The candidate will be responsible including but not limited to:

  • Diversify the sourcing channels to promote direct sourcing and internal mobility and employee referrals
  • Liaise with the hiring managers for the recruitment needs and requirements and provide market insight and market intelligence as a talent advisor
  • Oversee recruitment progress and procedures to ensure vacancies are filled within the shortest period with enthusiastic candidates that possess the brand proficiency
  • Support ongoing talent sourcing and talent mapping to build relationships with the key talent in the market and build a talent pool
  • In charge of the full cycle of Campus Recruitment via institutional partnership and career talks and fairs
  • Conduct data analysis on manpower planning and prepare periodical reports for management review
  • Lead our Employer Branding efforts on LinkedIn and other social media platforms
  • Refine Associate recognition programs at WHM and across properties
  • Conduct exit interviews of leaving Associates, identify turnover trends and recommend and advise appropriate solutions
  • Deliver a trusted employer brand known to employees as an environment where their voices are heard and acted on accordingly
  • Develop retention metrics and strategic plans to minimize turnover A Degree with a major in Human Resources, Business Management, Hospitality Management or related discipline

Your Skills:

  • A Degree with a major in Human Resources, Business Management, Hospitality Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of human resources experience in a managerial capacity in service-related industry. Corporate level experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge in Hong Kong and China Labour Laws
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to multi-task efficiently
  • Highly analytical and strong organizational and influencing skills
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Proficient in English business writing
  • Ability to work and interact with Associates at all levels
  • Ability to drive changes and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
