Job Description:

The position will support the senior HR manager in delivering full spectrum of HR functions and activities to SEA regional offices (HK, Singapore, Indian, Taiwan, Korea etc.). Activities will include recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits, performance management, HRIS system development,employee relations etc. Candidate will be a key member of the SEA HR team and is required to collaborate closely with different levels of internal customers including hiring managers, overseas staffs, and HR counterparts within Canadian Solar.



  • Participate in HR functions across SEA region including payroll administration, talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, employee relations;
  • Carry out daily HR operations such as orientation, on/off boarding, updating employee handbook and policies and procedures, maintaining accurate database in HRIS system;
  • Act as a focal point of communication and to provide prompt supports to employees on matters related to health insurance, training, visa application, company policies and procedures, general enquiry etc.;
  • Keep up to date on local labor and related legislation, and ensure compliance of company policies and statutory requirements;
  • Participate in the development of HRIS system and coordinate user training;
  • Build and maintain effective communication channels and work relationship with key parties internally and externally, including regional heads, hiring managers, internal colleagues, HR counterparts, recruiters, payroll vendors, insurance brokers etc.;
  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects and support administrative duties.



  • Diploma or above in Human Resources Management / Business Management or related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 year(s) relevant experience in human resources functions in sizeable and multinational companies, with regional exposure preferred;
  • Able to deal with people with confident, tact and discretion;
  • Detailed minded with initiatives in dealing with various people in a multi-cultural environment;
  • Self-motivated, positive, well-organized, independent and able to work under pressure with multi-tasking ability;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications;
  • Conversant with HK Employment Ordinance and other related labor ordinances.
