IFRS 17 Finance Implementation (AM / M / SM)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Involve in stakeholders’ discussion sessions on IFRS 17 accounting policy and released system infrastructure 
  • Capture changes of different CoA versions and inform upline regarding updates
  • Coordinate with different parties to ensure the data and system after development fulfill the user requirements
  • Support the development of technical and business knowledge and capabilities of the team
  • Assist in the build phase and testing of IFRS 17 implementation projects and other BAU enhancement projects
  • Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate the testing process and the resolution of issues
  • Work with other BAU teams to revamp the financial / management reporting and business planning process in light of the new reporting requirement

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' (for Assistant Manager) / 5+ years' (for Manager) / 8+ years' (for Senior Manager) relevant finance experience
  • Experience in insurance industry or project management is an advantage
  • Familiar with life insurance products and accounting frameworks
  • Experience in system update/change UAT will be a plus
  • Self-motivated in learning IFRS 17 and IFRS 9
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient in both English and Cantonese (Native English speakers can also be considered
