Private Wealth Management (PWM) secures, develops and manages relationships with high net worth individuals, their families, family offices and foundations. PWM assists clients with building and preserving their financial wealth by creating and implementing long-term asset allocation within the context of each client’s particular risk tolerance, and by providing access to innovative investment ideas and opportunities.

The Equity Solutions Group (“ESG") within Private Wealth Management (“PWM") is responsible for all equity-related solutions/platforms for PWM clients. ESG covers a wide scope, including capital market activities, brokerage ideas, tactical strategies, bespoke discretionary platforms such as GOAS (Goldman Option Advisory Service) and Beta+, thematic solutions, a dedicated single stock risk management (SSRM) platform and other risk management activities. ESG partners closely with clients to identify objectives, assess risk and customize solutions to meet both strategic and tactical goals, while maintaining a key risk management focus.

ESG is currently seeking a VP/Associate to work closely as a client-oriented marketing member that is focused on the SSRM business. The Asia SSRM platform was founded in 2014 and has grown rapidly since, partnering with high profile founder types with concentrated single stock positions. This role involves advising client, risk management, navigating the complex legal and regulatory frameworks, understanding signaling impacts as well as engaging in long-term strategic planning with the client. The candidate will be focusing on managing risks including regulatory risks, operational risks, execution risks and streamlining the SSRM processes. The candidate will also be involved in cross-divisional, cross-regional collaboration, general marketing of ESG strategies/ideas across the spectrum of ESG capabilities.


Managing both internal and external relationships with private wealth advisors, clients, cross-divisional partners, global counterparts
Engaging key founder and C-suite type clients in SSRM discussions and navigating the multiple challenges involved in winning such mandates
Streamlining the SSRM framework, improving efficiencies with a key focus on reducing any potential operational delays
Key focus on managing risks including regulatory risks, operational risks, execution risks
Communicating and collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders in order to achieve clients’ objectives
Creating marketing materials, providing customized solutions and coordinating all the legal documentation
Actively monitoring and communication of updates of ongoing SSRM strategies
Tracking the insider landscape in Asia Pacific and sourcing for strategic SSRM opportunities
Refining ESG business verticals to enhance the entire client experience, monitoring risks and producing revenue analytics regularly for management
Working seamlessly to provide effective client coverage across all PWM clients in a scalable fashion
Working on special projects to develop new business lines, streamline processes and improve technological infrastructure

5+ years of relevant experience, knowledge of US/HK regulatory and exchange requirements a plus
Motivated team player who can contribute in a cohesive team environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Meticulous and detailed oriented
Strong organizational skills, experienced in driving projects with multiple stakeholders
Independent thinker who is logical and analytical
Expertise in marketing, structuring and executing cash and derivative transactions
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin required. Cantonese is a plus.
