Job Title: Immigration Consultant

Location: Hong Kong

This role is to provide professional reputation of Crown immigration services through the delivery of quality, value added immigration services and immigration consultancy advice, to Crown corporate clients and their transferees, by the Hong Kong CWM immigration team, for relocations into Hong Kong SAR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and handle service initiations for immigration services into Hong Kong. Ensure that the application process is handled smoothly and professionally.
  • Prepare weekly status report to client HR including updated progress of new application and visa extension, completion of appilcation, etc.
  • Closely follow with Immigration Department for updates of each appilcation and to ensure that client HR and the transferees are kept posted on application status.
  • Track visa extensions for all assignees of responsible coporate clients in a timely manner. Ensure all expiries are consistently followed up with the assignees and there are no overstays in Hong Kong.
  • Ensure CWMQS is sent to transferees after completion of service.
  • Ensure MATS is updated properly and accurately for all services.
  • Prepare and raise invoices for all immigration services in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Handle and respond to enquiries from corporate clients with regard to immigration issues not limited to Hong Kong.
  • Proactively counsel client HR on changes in immgration process and policy.

    Professional Skills & Qualifications
  • Diploma qualification or above
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience dealing with expatriates and HR professionals. Knowledge of immigration issues and empathy towards transferees is also essential.
  • Knowledge in HK immigration regulations and practices. At least 2 years’ experience in providing immigration services is preferred.
  • High level problem solving skills and research/analytical ability including the ability to obtain and interpret information and make specific recommendations
  • Demonstrated high level of organizational skills including the capacity to set priorities and work to deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute in a team environment
  • Demonstrated commitment and accountability to customer service and continuous improvement
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft desktop products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
