Inside Business Development Representative (Ref: BD/02/2021)

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for sales growth and customer satisfaction of a customer group, partners and certain economic sectors;
  • Intensively acquire new customers to expand our sales markets;
  • Independently develop a new or established clientele;
  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts;
  • Direct prospects to the BD Manager when needed;
  • Enter and update customer information in the database (CRM);
  • Secure customer satisfaction throughout the total duration of the relationship to the customer;
  • Conduct outbound telemarketing activities (Cold/Warm Call) to cross-sell Anti-counterfeit, RFID, Solution Certification, Training course, Retail solutions including lead generation, prospecting, requirement gathering, aligning with BD Manager for solution design, proposal drafting, negotiating, order closing, execution and collecting payments;
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
  • Able to invite the potential customer for visit GS1’s innovative solution center
  • Conduct an IOT tour for introduce the Anti-counterfeit, RFID, Track & Trace, Retail solutions etc;
  • Managing company and client expectations;
  • Reviewing timeframes and creating sales scripts.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone;
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects;
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems;
  • Excellent knowledge of English;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection;
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Certificate;
  • At least 2 years of proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role (IT field would be an advantage)
