Inspection & Technical Support Engineer II (Ref: CS-CI-ITSEII-CT)

Reporting to the Chief Inspection and Technical Support Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

  • To lead a technical team to perform low voltage metering work, riser maintenance and repairs, inspection on electrical installations and investigation into power quality problems
  • To prepare reports and budgets, review business processes, and implement a quality management system for customer installation inspection services and metering work
  • To conduct site visits and provide technical advisory services
  • To participate in the promotional activities related to Feed-in-Tariff, Renewable Energy Power System and Smart Power Building Fund


  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience with at least 3 years in supervisory level
  • Registered Professional Engineer or Grade C or H Registered Electrical Worker (REW) preferred
  • Good knowledge of the Supply Rules, the Electricity Ordinance, Code of Practice for the Electricity (Wiring) Regulations and ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
  • Holder of a valid driving license for Class 1 vehicle an advantage
