INSPECTOR OF WORKS – FOR HONG KONG PROJECTS (CONTRACT)

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, monitor and ensure site works are completed in good quality and workmanship & Hong Kong legislations
  • Monitor site progress and report critical issues
  • Prepare defects list for issuance to contractors and monitor defects rectification progress and results
  • Monitor testing and commissioning activities
  • Prepare reports and keep records of works carried out

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Higher Certificate in Building Studies or related disciplines from recognized education institutes
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant site work experience preferably with property developers / consultant firms / Registered General Building Contractors
  • Proficiency in the procedures of all stages of building construction and with basic knowledge of local building regulations
  • Station on construction site and occasional travel to PRC is required for inspection of off-site works and materials
  • Effective communication skills
  • Candidate with lower qualification will be considered for the post of Assistant Inspector of Works
  • Contract Duration: 18 months
