Major Duties:
(a) To perform teaching duties, including student assessment and operating and maintaining training facilities and equipment to support teaching and learning;
(b) To provide support in programme operations;
(c) To prepare and update teaching and assessment materials;
(d) To perform duties in relation to student administration including student admission and records, job placement and other student activities;
(e) To implement quality assurance policies;
(f) To support the purchasing process including drafting specifications and inspecting the quality of goods;
(g) To maintain and enhance networks with the industry and related associations; and
(h) To conduct trade tests.

(a) A recognized higher diploma in Electronic or Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
(b) At least 3 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry;
(c) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese;
(d) Applicants should have good knowledge in at least one of the following:
  (i) Computer applications for enhanced teaching and learning;
  (ii) AR and VR applications and their development skills;
  (iii) C or C++ or C# or Java or Objective-C or equivalent programming skills;
  (iv) Popular 2D, 3D Computer Graphics development skills and tools;
  (v) IoT Application Development;
  (vi) Automation and computer control application development;
  (vii) Telecommunication, building security system mechanic;
  (viii) Mobile application development on iOS and Android platforms; and
(e) The ability to pass a trade test.

(1) Candidates without the required academic qualification stated in the Requirement (a) but possessing 8 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry may also apply. Where applicable, these candidates may be required to have a Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 3 qualification.
(2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
(3) In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
