Major Duties:
(a) To perform teaching duties including student assessment, operating and maintaining training facilities and equipment to support teaching and learning;
(b) To provide support in programme operations;
(c) To prepare and update teaching and assessment materials;
(d) To perform duties in relation to student administration including student admission and records, job placement and other student activities;
(e) To implement quality assurance policies;
(f) To maintain and enhance networks with the industry and related associations;
(g) To conduct class and practical training in the areas of Electronic and Interactive Product Development and Production / Workshop and Multimedia Event, Exhibition and Performance Production;
(h) To organise visit and activities for students and to prepare training materials, estimates of equipment and consumable materials, and maintenance of training-related records; and
(i) To assist in the development of programme curriculum, new projects and services, and maintaining the standard and quality of the training programmes.

(a) A recognised higher diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent;
(b) At least 3 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry;
(c) Sound technical knowledge / skills in micro-controller programming such as Arduino;
(d) Candidates with proven records of linkage with industry / professional bodies, and/or knowledge / skills in the following areas would be an added advantage:
(i) Electronic parts and electronic circuits;
(ii) Mechanical and production engineering; and
(iii) Development of Mobile App for IoT products;
(e) Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese; and
(f) The ability to pass a trade test.

(1) Candidates without the required academic qualification stated in the General Requirement (a) but possessing 8 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry may also apply. Where applicable, these candidates may be required to have a Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 3 qualification.
(2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
