The Team

As part of the Club’s Corporate Planning, Communications and Membership Division, Market & Membership Intelligence unit is responsible for identifying market, customer and member insights to facilitate planning of the Club’s businesses.


The Job

Reporting to Executive Manager, Market and Membership Intelligence, the incumbent is responsible for the following roles:

  • act as project manager on business planning fronts in proactively managing project timeline, scope, governance and risks in relation to future-state business requirements for system development, including CRM and associated functional systems in support of the Club’s membership, hospitality, catering and recreational services
  • work closely and independently with cross-functional business stakeholders as well as IT project manager and business analysts and be able to get their buy-in and support
  • undertake business planning and analyst tasks as part of the project lifecycle including the development of performance metrics, capabilities and business requirements in orchestration with the desirable customer experiences.
  • applying process knowledge and data analytical skills in the Club’s business contexts to reach resolutions on the future-state processes and data interactions
  • jointly work with external system vendors, agencies, consultants and internal IT professionals in formulating user acceptance testing framework, use cases and business scenarios as well as representing users in conducting acceptance testing to ensure that business requirements are being addressed
  • collaborate with internal development partners and indirectly working with external vendors to ensure deliverables are seamlessly integrated into current operations while building stronger relationships and rapport with all stakeholders
  • fast-track implementation and evangelise business data analyst roles in embracing the system and process changes through demonstration, training and on-job parallel coaching in handling both structured and unstructured data intelligence, marketing campaigns and business reporting.


About You

The incumbent should possess:

  • a university degree in statistics, behavioral sciences, business administration or other related disciplines
  • a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in system development/management, customer management or data analytics functions
  • project management skills and system implementation experiences in managing/ developing large-scale projects involving CRM, customer database and channels
  • strong numerical acumen with in-depth experience in statistical modeling and/or analytics, with hands-on experience in using statistical and/or business intelligence applications, particularly SPSS, SAS, Advanced Excel
  • sophisticated report writing and presentation skills
  • knowledge and experience in market research field with in-depth understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods and techniques is an advantage
