Taste Interiors is looking for an immediate/mid-weight interior designer to join its team in its Hong Kong practice. Candidate with less experience will be consider as Assistant Interior Designer.

We are seeking a talented and committed mid-weight interior designer to join our busy and dynamic team. Candidates must have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in all interior stages from conceptual design to project completion. The candidate will work closely with our Project Manager and assist in the process of project management. At times candidates will be managing smaller scale projects independently through the guidance of our Project Manager. We welcome any candidates who hold the ambition to become long-term, integral members of our growing and dynamic studio.   • Undertaking design project from concept to completion
  • Develop design drawings to technical drawings
  • Defining project requirements and schedule
  • Interpret and translate customer needs into plans
  • Research and liaise with suppliers, decide on material sourcing and specifications
  • Set costs and project fees according to budget
  • Liaise and work closely with contractors, clients, consultants and architects
  • Coordinate on-site works with relevant parties
  • Present concepts and drawings on behalf of the company in client meetings
  • Assist Project Manager with project management where feasible
  • Handle tender documentation and submission such as cost estimations
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate


  • Minimum 3 years working experience in all interior stages from conceptual design to project completion
  • Experience in commercial office and retail interior design
  • Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
  • Ability to handle interior fit-out construction drawing is essential
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign)
  • 3D rendering skill desirable but not essential
  • Good project management and organizational skills
  • Strong team player and good project management skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
  • Diploma or Higher Education in Interior Design, Project Management or equivalent
  • Good spoken and written English and Cantonese. Mandarin is desirable but not essential
  • Candidate with less experience will be consider as Assistant Interior Designer
