Responsibilities:

  • Focus on the international tax matters, which involves tax accounting, tax research, responding to tax audit inquiries, and collaborating with other tax and finance professionals throughout the company
  • Prepare tax working papers that support the tax provision process on timely basis
  • Prepare certain foreign jurisdictions corporate tax compliance, planning and process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage various tax reporting, tax compliance and project related deadlines.
  • Understand and assess the impact of local country taxation developments and their impact on the company
  • Provide support, analysis and reporting for taxation audits and special projects.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the group's tax process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Act as a liaison with the different countries / parties to ensure that there is timely and thoughtful communication
  • Provide a wide range of tax services for multinational corporations in multiple jurisdictions. Identify and address complex domestic and international tax issues and assists them in strategically aligning different areas of taxation. Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.
  • Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
  • Perform Tax Due Diligence

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Law (an advanced degree in Economics, Law, Tax or Accounting is desirable)
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant corporate tax experience
  • Qualified CPA (or equivalent) or CIA is required
  • Knowledge and experience in internal control, international tax ordinance and policies are required
  • Knowledge of US SOX compliance and accounting (US GAAP), FATCA are preferred
  • Detail minded, meticulous, self-motivated & well organized, able to work independently
  • Mature team player with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
