Investment Analyst (Asset Allocation)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of investment strategies for insurance funds with a core focus in strategic and tactical asset allocation
  • Lead and monitor the work and performance of fund managers for multi-assets mandates
  • Work closely with various internal functions including Actuary, Finance, Product, Risk and others in relation to investment matters
  • Perform regular investment performance monitoring, measurement and attribution
  • Contribute to annual investment plan, budgeting, cash flow forecast and etc.
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Actuary, Risk Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 1 year's experience with exposures in investment management, strategic asset allocation or ALM related areas (Candidates with less experiences will be considered as Assistant Investment Analyst)
  • Qualifications of financial examinations (e.g. CFA, FRM, CAIA) are preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with practical experience using VBA
  • Great sense of ownership and excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in written Chinese and English, spoken Mandarin, Cantonese and English
