We are looking for an Investment Associate / Analyst for our client,  a growing Chinese Asset Management Company. Details follow:-

Responsibilities

-Researching companies, particularly in terms of their financial functioning

-Analyzing company accounts, profit and loss sheets and cash flow information

-Interpreting complicated financial information

-Writing financial research summaries, and making informed recommendations

-Collating detailed, up-to-date information about the global economy and financial markets.

-Contribute to performance of portfolios in accordance with investment objectives and the regulatory environment

-Effectively analyze and model financial data, proactively use information and contribute to investment thinking within the department and ensure own best ideas are represented in the portfolios

-Attend company meetings, monitors company results, and identify opportunities and risks within the portfolios

-Develop and maintain own investment expertise through building and maintaining effective relationships with brokers, analysts, company management and internal contacts

-Provide general support for the Sales in preparing presentations, reports etc.

-Act as a point of contact for the Funds and the Retail business to external and internal clients, thereby making a positive contribution to the Sales and Marketing effort

Requirement¡G

-Graduate from a recognized University

- 2 yrs+ experience in asset management / fixed income investment company

-Proficient in written and oral Mandarin and English

-Strong credit analysis skills

-Strong knowledge of Bloomberg and/or Wind, Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)

-Ability to take a leading role on due diligence, with a mindset to question and cross check information supplied

-Familiarity with financial legal documentation and taking an active role in identifying key issues / concerns around structure and credit

-Flexible mindset with a solution orientation (going beyond identification of risks)

-Clear and convincing communication style

-Ability to articulate and defend own investment approach

-Ability to work under tight timelines and multi-task

-Active listener and strong teamwork/partnership approach

-Willingness to travel -Working experience of trading, credit analysis and industry research in fixed income area is a plus
