Investment Manager (Alternative and Discretionary Investment) - CMB Wing Lung Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Build up and manage alternative and discretionary investment portfolio to achieve higher returns and improve diversifications;
• Source deals and search for investment opportunities in alternative and discretionary investments, including private debt, private equity, funds, structured products, etc.;
• Lead pre-investment due diligence, analysis, and negotiations of commercial terms, make investment proposals to Investment Committee, and lead settlement and closing of deals;
• Lead post-investment management and ensure investment transactions adhere to risk management guidelines and regulatory requirements;
• Lead the establishment of the Cayman SPC and SPs, or other funds on-demand to fulfill internal and external needs;
• Take charge of project exit and manage performance of existing investments with focus on risks and returns;
• Other ad hoc assignments as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related, CPA/CFA/FRM qualifications preferred
• Over 3 years working experience in buy-side position in alternative investments, including but not limited to private debt, private equity, funds and structured products
• Holder of SFC license Type 4, 9
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Knowledge and experience in MS Office, Bloomberg, Wind
