Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with product owner, business stakeholders and other technology teams in Asia to understand new requirements and designing modules/functionalities to address expansion, regulatory or automation needs .
  • Formulate the right strategies and deliver best-in-class Technology solutions in response to business scenarios. Ensure solutions could be implemented in due time.
  • Collaborate with multiple globally distributed teams to deliver end-to-end global solutions.
  • Proactively look to develop, implement and further promote best technical practices across the team, which include, but not be limited to, code quality improvement, code reviews, code/architecture standards, code reuse, automation testing, continuous integration and deployment, technical documentation and technical design specifications


This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • CS degree or 10+ years' relevant experience in a reputable bank, technology firm.
  • Strong applied experience with computer science fundamentals such as data structures, multithreading, object-oriented design principles.
  • Strong experience with backend/server technologies commonly used in banks
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as ReactJS, TypeScript.
  • Experience with transactional database development skills, such as SQL, Sybase, Oracle.
  • Experience with RESTful API design, microservice oriented architecture.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Puppeteer, mocking and Junit.
  • Database development skills including SQL, relational data design and stored procedures.
  • Strong in ability manage stakeholders, liaise between lines of business and development teams, working with a wide range of parties while collaborating with your broader team.
  • Can provide material feedback on the work of junior programmers.
  • Experiences in team management and coaching is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
