Job profile

  • Based in Hong-Kong, interactions with Carrefour Asia teams and Carrefour IT partners
  • Permanent contract
  • Limited travel within Asia
  • Reporting to IT Application/Operation Manager
  • Support the development of nearshore/offshore IT activities to strengthen Carrefour Asia regional back office life cycle
  • Control IT partners’ work (including IT internal delivery team) to ensure execution of agreed processes, and at agreed quality and service level
  • Report performance KPI to management, put improvement action plans in place and coordinate teams
  • Participate to IT process improvements within Carrefour local IT teams and our IT partners in Asia
  • Improve collaboration between teams and enforce usage of Application Life Cycle tools and methodology
  • Process areas: demand management, software development, quality insurance, build & release, service delivery

 

Mandatory experience

  • Between 3-5 years experience as IT Business Analyst or IT Project Manager
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English
  • Experience in functional specification writing
  • Experience in business process analysis, documentation and re-engineering
  • Understanding of business software / ERP functional design
  • Basic IT project management skills and understanding of software project lifecycle

 

Nice to have

  • Experience in Application Lifecycle Management software (IBM Rational, HP ALM...)
  • Experience dealing with software vendors and IT service delivery companies
  • Experience in source control, build & release management tools for Java applications
  • Experience in Business Intelligence software
  • Experience in JIRA administration and customization
  • Experience in Kanban/SCRUM/Agile
  • Understanding or experience in IT Helpdesk support processes
  • Microsoft Excel advanced user
  • PL/SQL editors and SQL query writing

 

Note: skills NOT required

  • Retail industry or system knowledge
  • Advanced IT technical skills (programming, scripting, system admin, database admin…)

 

Other requirements

  • Fluent in English is mandatory
  • Cantonese and/or Mandarin proficiency is a plus
  • HK permanent resident
  • University degree in IT or related field
