  • Proactively engage with retained applications related stakeholders or parties by resolving production queries, requests, issues under a highly pressured environment
  • Identify, communicate, diagnose, and resolve functional and technical incidents of retained applications
  • Respond to retained applications systems technical problems in a timely manner
  • Proactively record and track actions from system incidents to ensure root cause remediation and recurrence prevention Change Management and Subject Matter Expert
  • Review and execute regular application change releases into production and non-production environment and work closely with stake holders, application developers and QA teams
  • Support retained application system platform improvement initiatives in Application Monitoring, Stability, Resiliency and Capacity
  • Communicate with headquarters related divisions (e.g. development centre, data centers, etc), related business users and 3rd parties vendors
  • Execute and coordinate the retained application system related BAU activities
  • Act as a project coordinator on project management, requirement gathering and execution of related retained applications projects
  • Provide on-call standby support during non-office hours


  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
  • ITIL, MCSE or PMP certification is preferred
  • Minimum 4 years’ related work experience, preferably gained in banking or finance industry
  • Experience in application support, application development (i.e. java, Microsoft technology, etc), trouble-shooting, and Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle Database are essential
  • Knowledge of multiple technical platforms such as Windows, UNIX/Linux and PC environments is preferred
  • Proven project management, coordination and requirement gathering experience in enterprise systems
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Solid interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with good team spirit
  • Good negotiation, vendor management and influential skill
  • Able to work independently under pressure
