IT ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT (Ref: ITEA/TM)

Our client is a new established FinTech with solid investor’s background of global insurance and leading internet enterprise.  This is a great opportunity for experienced IT technologist and expert to join and work with an innovative business idea of digital insurance.  On its behalf, we are seeking an experienced IT Enterprise Architect to join and participate in the initial stage of the digital development. 

 

The incumbent reports directly to the Team Lead of Enterprise Architect, responsible for managing and designing the enterprise architecture of software, hardware, infrastructure and network.  The incumbent will require to communicate with internal business users and external IT vendors for the business and technical needs, to ensure continual success of business support and IT development, as well as reviewing the current technology position and drive ways to leverage and improve business technology in digital.

 

Technical Competence (may use at work but are not all required):

 

Build

  • Similar in one or more: Java, JavaScript, Xamarin
  • Programming skills in C#, F#, or any development framework such as .net MVC, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Spring Data, or etc
  • Working knowledge of application container
  • Good understanding of Integration protocol and Integration container
  • Experiences in interactive developer environment
  • Familiarity with source code management and change control

Code

  • Sound knowledge of Code Analysis such as Coverity , SonarQube, FindBugs, PMD, FxCop, StyleCop, Simian or etc

Test

  • Working knowledge of Unit and Integration Testing tools
  • Sound knowledge of Performance Testing tools

Deployment

  • Configuration management and deployment tools (e.g. Vagrant,  Puppet, Packer, virtualbox)
  • Knowledge in scripting skills (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Maven, Jenskins Scripts)
  • Experience with build/release (CI/CD) pipelines, methodologies and orchestration (e.g. Jenkins, Maven, JIRA)
  • Familiar with package repository such as Artifactory and Nexus and deployment package using WAR, Micro Services (JAR)
  • At least three (3) years of experience in development or running server operations environments including RedHat Linux and Window Administration, User and Machine Admin, Packaging technologies
  • SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL) and non-SQL database administration skills
  • Sound knowledge of Unix network protocols and TCP/IP network fundamentals
  • Experience with core infrastructure technologies (Windows Activity Directory, DHCP, PKI, DNS, TLS, SSH, SNMP)
  • An understanding and passion for developing high secure and highly available systems
  • Familiar with deploying and managing cloud services on with AWS or Tencent Cloud
  • Working knowledge of security principles – server security, file systems and access control
  • Network management using alert and monitoring tools such as AppDynamic, Splunk, LogStash, QRadar

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of IT experience in both application and infrastructure development
  • Experience or qualification in clouds technologies
  • Familiar with Agile methodology and approach
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
  • Experience with systems and IT operations
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Technical design and analysis experience with hands-on development and implementation
  • Innovative, willingness and “can-do" attitudes with good experience and exposure in digital, web or mobile technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
