IT Help Desk Technician

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, remotely or by email
  • Perform remote troubleshooting
  • Resolve end users problems and provide support for software applications, email access, internet access and PC hardware
  • Maintain hardware and software asset management
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Record events, problems and their resolution in logs
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Be comfortable working without constant supervision and be capable of identifying and prioritizing tasks
  • Maintaining client relationships



  • 1-2 years demonstrated experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
  • Familiar with networking
  • Literate in Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office environments
  • Customer service focused
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • Professional in attitude, result driven and good business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal, self-initiative, enthusiastic and team player
  • Someone feels comfortable to work in a small and medium size office independently
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
