IT Operation Manager [Ref.: ITOM]

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the business unit escalation prime channel on IT operational service issues and the focal communication point of IT operational issues
  • Direct and drive the development of IT Service Level Requirement (SLR) and IT Service Catalogue to meet the Service Management objectives
  • Monitor and review the measurement of agreed IT Service Levels on a regular basis; drive the establishment of proactive measurement to improve IT Service Levels
  • Manage overall administration and support of application system(s) and other related process management
  • Lead and provide in-depth problem analysis, troubleshooting, and coordination and deliver resolutions
  • Work and coordinate with vendors and outsourcing partners, to ensure work is delivered on-time, secure and with the right quality aligned to company standards
  • Manage maintenance schedules and service agreements
  • Ensure proper disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested
  • Lead training activities and develop training plans for new staff
  • Lead post-production support planning and implementation activities
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation / knowledge base
  • Advise on budgetary and resource requirements to scale the operations and support team with business and usage growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related disciplines
  • ISO 20000 and ITIL certified or similar qualification is desirable
  • Over 8 years relevant working experience in which at least 5 years in the support leadership role in a multi-cultural and multi-vendor environment in a multi-discipline team in various countries
  • Experience with deploying and supporting large scale infrastructures and applications
  • Proven experience in service operation management, end to end operational service delivery, vendor management, IT facility management, IT process and methodology
  • Ability to monitor and measure operational efficiency, providing KPI reporting for Management
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and project management skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
