The Job

  • Provide oversight and governance of IT Risk and Security Policy requirements for FWD Group and all Business Units
  • Serve as the process owner and handles all the IT risk and security related issues, providing guidance and assistance to country Business Units to ensure on-going activities/integration meets IT security standards and local regulatory requirements
  • Ensure IT risk and security implementation is aligned with business strategies, organization policies and requirements
  • Deliver reliable and cost-effective IT security services for FWD Business Units
  • Develop and enhance FWD Security standards and processes in conjunction with Group Risk
  • Work closely with senior management through tracking and reporting function, to ensure regular updates to executives on the cyber security landscape
  • Ensure relevant IT security processes and controls are implemented for country Business Units, which includes delivery, support and advisory for such activities

The Person

  • Minimum 8 years working experience in implementing IT risk, security and operational control, preferably in Financial Institutions
  • Degree from Information Technology or equivalent discipline
  • Certification on CISSP / CEH / CISA / CISM is preferred
  • Regional experience in this role with knowledge on countries' data regulatory requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and influential skills to enable the implementation and enforcement of the security program
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Sound knowledge on applications, systems and networking technologies with an understanding on their implications on data security
  • Good understanding on latest cyber security trends
