IT Services & Operations Manager

The IT Services & Operations Manager is responsible for managing all Geoswift production systems. Leading team and vendor to monitor and review IT system and vendor service levels on 7x24 basis. Leading IT teammates and vendors in resolving operational issues, escalation prime channel on system issues and being the focal communication point. Collaborate with IT team members and contracted support teams in providing daily support, infrastructure development and patch management on business application systems. Lead post-production support planning and implementation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Development of monitoring capabilities for all business-critical systems
  • Monitor and review the measurement of agreed IT service levels on a regular basis; drive the establishment of proactive measurement to improve IT Service Levels
  • Develop IT Service Level Requirement (SLR) and IT service catalogue to meet the service management objectives
  • Representing IT team to communication with vendor and other team leaders on system operation and support.
  • Leading support team to priorities projects and duties, maximize the efficiency across the system lifecycle and support.
  • Advise on budgetary and resource requirements to scale the operations and support team with business and usage growth.
  • Perform ad hoc assignments, additional duties and project assigned by the management
  • Create or revise user instructions, procedures, manuals and knowledge base.
  • Develop and run monthly IT performance report
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field 
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in which 5+ years as a Support Lead role with regular and frequent contact with business partners, IT team members and vendors
  • Results oriented and self-motivated with strong sense of urgency
  • Proven experience in service operation management, end to end operational service delivery, vendor management, IT facility management, IT process and methodology
  • Understanding of software and ecommerce operational readiness requirements
  • Ability to monitor and measure operational efficiency, providing KPI reporting for Management
  • Experience in Linux / Windows server administration and VMWare
  • Proven knowledge and experience in ITIL implementation
  • Excellence business analysis and problem solving skills
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and project management skills
  • Self-discipline, proactive, independent, hardworking and able to work under pressure
  • Good spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin
  • Innovative, willing to learn new technology, have a good team spirit and communication skills
  • Knowledge with project management lifecycle (both waterfall and agile approaches)
  • Experience in banking or payment industry is highly preferred
  • Experience in payment application development and familiar with PCI DSS or ISO27001 is a plus
