IT Support Analyst (First Line)

Our client is looking for an IT Support Analyst to join their team, responsible for APAC first line support as well as desk support to the Hong Kong office.

Responsibilities:

  • Log, analyse and resolve all IT incidents, queries and requests, providing first point of contact support to APAC partners and staff, escalating where necessary. 
  • Provide second line desktop support to Hong Kong partners and staff.
  • Working with other internal teams over escalation issues, whilst keeping internal customers informed of resolution progress.
  • Provide IT Support for internal events, projects or major incidents.
  • Support software applications, such as Microsoft Office and in-house devices (PC, mobiles, VC) 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Must be able to demonstrate success in a similar role. 
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver outstanding service in a high-pressure environment
  • Language skills: Fluent spoken and written English is required. Also, either spoken Cantonese, Mandarin or Japanese required. More than two languages would be a plus.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certificate is desirable.  
  • Proficiency in Windows 10 and MS Office and Sharepoint is required. 
  • Experience with supporting mobile devices and VC
  • Strong teamwork skills and able to work under own initiative when required and good technical understanding of information systems issues.
